Lalita Dsilva reveals that Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan eat the same food as their staff, as shared by Taimur and Jeh’s nurse
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan were fortunate to have celebrity pediatric nurse Lalita Dsilva take care of their children, Taimur and Jeh. Despite being with the kids 24/7, the celebrity couple treated her with equal respect.
Speaking exclusively to Pinkvilla’s Hindi Rush, the caretaker revealed that Bebo and Saif would eat the same food as the rest of the staff members. Read on!
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are down-to-earth
Celebrity pediatric nurse Lalita Dsilva spent eight years caring for Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s children. When asked about the couple’s real-life demeanor, she told Pinkvilla’s Hindi Rush that they are humble and ordinary people.
The senior caretaker also mentioned that in the mornings, they all ate together with the staff. Lalita emphasized that there was no distinction in the quality or type of food served. “We have had many meals together,” she revealed.

Saif Ali Khan is a skilled cook
In the same interview, Lalita Dsilva shared that actor Saif Ali Khan is a great cook and often prepared meals when they visited Pataudi. “Saif sir enjoys cooking. He is excellent at it. Although I don’t eat non-vegetarian food, he prepares delicious Laal Maas. He also cooks fantastic spaghetti, pasta, and Italian dishes,” she mentioned.
There were rumors circulating about the caretaker being paid Rs 2.5 lakh by the couple. When asked about the truth, she laughed and said, “Rs 2.5 lakh? I wish. May your rumors come true. These are just baseless rumors.”
Lalita also shared that when these rumors surfaced, she asked Bebo if she would actually receive such a large sum, to which Kareena responded, “It’s all in good fun, don’t take it seriously.”
On the professional front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will appear in Rohit Shetty’s action-packed film Singham Again, while Saif is awaiting the release of his Telugu-language action-drama movie Devara: Part 1.
