Kaos Teaser: Jeff Goldblum Takes on Role of Ruthless Greek God in Upcoming Netflix Series
Netflix has released the teaser trailer for its new series, Kaos, featuring Jeff Goldblum as the lead. In the teaser, Goldblum portrays the character of the modern-day Greek god Zeus, showcasing a ruthless and terrifying side that scares the people of the city. The preview includes disturbing images of corpses and violent deeds that demonstrate Zeus’s wrath.
Kaos offers a modern take on Greek mythology, promising a dark thriller that sets it apart from previous adaptations of mythological stories.
What is Kaos about?
Kaos, starring Jeff Goldblum, will blend thriller and violent action genres with a touch of comedy. The Netflix series is described as a “mythological dark-comedy TV series created by Charlie Covell.” The story follows three humans as they uncover their connection to each other and an ancient prophecy while facing corrupt gods from classical mythology.
The show takes inspiration from the novel American Gods for Goldblum’s character, adding a unique twist to Greek mythology that distinguishes it from other adaptations.

Cast and crew of Kaos
Alongside Jeff Goldblum, Kaos features Janet McTeer as Hera, Cliff Curtis as Poseidon, and David Thewlis as Hades. Aurora Perrineau, known for her role in Westworld, plays Riddy, a human tied to the prophecy concerning Zeus. The series is written and created by Charlie Covell.
Covell serves as the showrunner for Kaos, with Georgi Bank-Davies and Runyararo Mapfumo directing the first season and executive producing it.
Kaos will be available for streaming on Netflix starting on August 29.
