As Kane Brown emotionally sings, “I grew up without a dad / I’m gonna be the best one I can be.”
And so far, things are going well for one of country music’s shining stars. In October 2019, the 30-year-old singer welcomed his first child, daughter Kingsley Rose Brown with his wife Katelyn Jae, just over a year after their 2018 wedding.
“It’s been amazing, man,” he shared about life with a newborn to E!’s Jason Kennedy at the 2019 American Music Awards. “I got two girls at home now.”
Despite it being less than a month since his daughter’s arrival at the time, she had already taught her father an important lesson. As Kane told Jason, “She’s teaching me that I can be patient.”
The singer even expressed his love for his baby and his promises as a father to her in his 2019 song, “For My Daughter.”
