Kamal Haasan applauds Pawan Kalyan’s success in Assembly Polls, expresses pride in his achievement with a heartfelt message, ‘Well done, brother’
Pawan Kalyan is overjoyed after his political party emerged victorious in the 2024 Assembly Elections. Following his historic win, many renowned personalities from the film industry sent him warm wishes. One of the latest actors to congratulate him is Kamal Haasan, also known as Ulaga Nayagan.

The Vishwaroopam actor took to his official X (formerly known as Twitter) account on Friday, June 7, to share a heartfelt message for the actor-turned-politician.
He wrote, “Had an emotional conversation and conveyed my heartfelt congratulations to Shri @PawanKalyan on his electoral triumph! I wish him the best as he embarks on this journey of serving the hopes and aspirations of the people of Andhra Pradesh. Proud of you brother!”
The Gunna actor’s gesture highlights the strong bond he shares with Pawan Kalyan.
For those unaware, the Vakeel Saab actor made history by winning in his constituency with a significant vote difference of 70,354 votes.
Appreciating Pawan Kalyan’s party’s outstanding performance, PM Modi also praised him as an ‘aandhi’ (storm). In response to PM Modi’s comment, the Teen Maar actor smiled and folded his hands as a sign of respect.
His party, the Jana Sena Party, is in an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party, led by Chandrababu Naidu.
Kamal Haasan’s upcoming projects
Kamal Haasan is currently working on several exciting projects. He is preparing for the release of his film Indian 2 on July 12, 2024.
Indian 2, the much-awaited sequel to the 1996 cult film Indian, features Haasan reprising his role as Senapathy. The film is a vigilante action movie depicting the story of a former freedom fighter seeking revenge against corruption and threats to the country’s integrity.
In addition to Indian 2, the Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu actor will also appear in Mani Ratnam’s film Thug Life. Reports suggest that the makers are currently filming a major action sequence at Pondicherry airport, with Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan TR, and Ashok Selvan participating in the schedule.
