He stated, “It’s too much pressure for me.”

Timberlake chuckled at the request, asking, “Do you want to not come to the show?”

Amidst his world tour, the “Cry Me a River” singer has been dealing with the legal aftermath of his June 18 arrest for driving while intoxicated. On Sept. 13, he pleaded guilty to a noncriminal traffic violation of driving while impaired, according to NBC News. He has agreed to pay a minimal fine and complete 25 to 40 hours of community service.

“As you may know, I try to hold myself to a very high standard for myself,” he said in a press conference at the time. “And this was not that. I found myself in a position where I could have made a different decision, but I’ve had some time to reflect on that.”

“This is a mistake that I made,” he added, “but I hope whoever is watching and listening right now can learn from this mistake, I know that I certainly have.”
