Justin Theroux shares the story of how he met his fiancée Nicole Brydon Bloom
Justin Theroux‘s serendipitous encounter with Nicole Brydon Bloom could easily be a scene from a romantic movie.
In fact, the actor from Beetlejuice was struck by one word when he first saw his now-fiancée: “Wow.”
“A friend of mine who was with me literally said, ‘That’s the one,'” he shared on the Sept. 18 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. “We hadn’t even met yet. I was like, ‘She’s so stunning.’ So I went over and started talking, and things progressed from there.”
The 53-year-old, previously married to Jennifer Aniston from 2015 to 2018, revealed that he and Nicole crossed paths “through mutual friends” at a party, prompting Drew Barrymore to exclaim, “That happens?! I go out all the time and never meet anyone!”
Fortunately, Justin came to the rescue and offered his assistance, telling his Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle co-star, “You gotta hang out with me. I’ll be your wingperson. I’ll take you around. Let’s do it.”
