Joshua Jackson Shares his Thoughts on the Futures of Dawson’s Creek’s Pacey and Joey

Fans can breathe a sigh of relief as more than 20 years after Katie Holmes‘ Joey Potter ultimately chose Jackson’s Pacey Witter over Dawson Leery (James Van Der Beek) in the series finale. The Mighty Ducks star sees the pair still enjoying their happily ever after.
“Yeah,” Jackson told E! News’ Francesca Amiker at the Los Angeles premiere of the upcoming series Doctor Odyssey on Sept. 18. “Why not?” (for more from Jackson, watch E! News at 11 p.m.)
The 46-year-old added, “I think he would be raising her kids, if she’s out chasing her dreams. I think that’s the way it was going.”
Although Jackson’s vision for Joey and Pacey’s future is heartwarming, series creator Kevin Williamson previously hinted that the characters might not have a lasting relationship.
