Supreme Court Denies Josh Duggar’s Appeal in Child Porn Case
Despite creating a spinoff called Counting On that focused on Josh’s younger sisters, the network decided to cancel the series after 11 seasons when Josh was arrested on child pornography charges in April 2021.
Since Josh’s conviction, various family members, including his parents Jim Bob and Michelle, have commented on the case.
In a statement to E! News in December 2021, they expressed, “This entire ordeal has been very grievous. Today, God’s grace, through the love and prayers of so many, has sustained us. Our hearts and prayers are with anyone who has ever been harmed through CSAM [Child Sexual Abuse Material].”
They added, “In the days to come, we will do everything we can to support our daughter-in-law Anna and their children with love and care. As parents, we will continue to pray for Joshua and show him love, just as we do for all our children. In every situation in life, we put our trust in God.”
