NHL Teammates Celebrate Johnny Gaudreau’s Daughter’s Birthday
Johnny Gaudreau‘s teammates continue to support his family even weeks after his tragic passing.
On September 30, members of the Columbus Blue Jackets came together to celebrate the second birthday of Johnny’s daughter, Noa. They stood next to her holding a large lawn sign that read, “Happy 2nd Birthday Noa!”
Erik Gudbranson, a player for the Blue Jackets, his wife Sarah Gudbranson shared the photo on her Instagram Stories and tagged Johnny’s wife, Meredith Gaudreau. Sarah expressed, “Sending so much love from your Jackets family!”
Meredith also posted the touching image, expressing her gratitude, “Love you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Really special group that will forever be family to me and our babies.”
In August, Johnny and his brother Matthew tragically lost their lives in a car accident while biking in New Jersey. Just a few weeks later at the memorial service, Meredith, who is a mother to their 7-month-old son, Johnny Edward, revealed that she is currently expecting their third child.
