John Legend Criticizes The Voice Coaches as Useless Following Battle

Bryan Olesen and Nathan Chester leave the coaches on the NBC reality competition show speechless and impressed during the Battle Rounds. In an exclusive sneak peek for the show’s March 18 episode on E! News, the duo wows with their rendition of “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele.
After their powerful performance, coach John Legend seeks advice from Reba McEntire, Chance the Rapper, and Dan + Shay to help him decide who to eliminate and who to advance to the Knockout Rounds. Despite their rave reviews, John is left disappointed with the tough decision ahead.
“Bryan, Nathan, that was absolutely incredible,” Reba praises. “Your harmony was powerful, and your choreography was flawless. Bryan, your unique style stood out, and Nathan, your powerhouse vocals were impressive. John, I’m not much help to you on this one, buddy, sorry.”
Chance acknowledges Nathan’s strong presence and control, while also appreciating Bryan’s vocal dynamics and range. “You both are talented and powerful vocalists,” he adds.
