Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope End Marriage after 2 Years
This marks Joey’s third divorce, following previous marriages to Michelle Vella and Chadie Yawn-Nelson. He shares daughters Charleston, 18, and Liberty, 14, with Chadie.
Joey and Samantha first met on the set of their 2021 Lifetime thriller My Husband’s Secret Brother, where he portrayed her character’s lover-turned-murderer.
Reflecting on their unconventional beginning, Joey shared in a December People interview, “I’d never dated somebody that I’d worked with before. That was just very, very much out of the ordinary for me.”
