Jimmie Allen Opens Up About Suicidal Thoughts Following Sexual Assault Lawsuit
In May 2023, a lawsuit was filed by Jimmie’s former manager under the pseudonym Jane Doe, alleging that Jimmie sexually assaulted her over a period of 18 months. Documents obtained by E! News at the time reveal that she claimed he assaulted her “while she was incapacitated and incapable of giving consent” and that he “sexually abused her at red lights, in green rooms, on airplanes, and in other places she was required to be to support him at events.”
Jimmie denied the allegations, stating that their relationship had been consensual. He said in a statement to E! News on May 11, “It is deeply troubling and hurtful that someone I counted as one of my closest friends, colleagues, and confidants would make allegations that have no truth to them whatsoever. I acknowledge that we had a sexual relationship—one that lasted for nearly two years.”
“During that time,” he added, “she never once accused me of any wrongdoing, and she spoke of our relationship and friendship as being something she wanted to continue indefinitely.”
