Jigra director Vasan Bala apologizes to fans of Stree 2 actress Shraddha Kapoor with a ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’; here’s the reason for his apology
Jigra, starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, is one of the most anticipated films of 2024. The teaser trailer of the movie was recently revealed and received praise from actress Shraddha Kapoor. Director Vasan Bala thanked Shraddha for her kind words but also apologized to her fans for not tagging her in his appreciation note for her movie Stree 2.
On September 8, 2024, Shraddha Kapoor praised the Jigra teaser trailer on her Instagram Stories, mentioning that she wants to watch it in theaters with her brother Siddhanth Kapoor. She specifically praised Alia Bhatt and director Vasan Bala for the amazing trailer.
In response, Vasan shared Shraddha’s note on his own Stories and thanked her, also apologizing to her fans for the oversight in not tagging her earlier. He expressed his gratitude and hoped Shraddha and Siddhanth enjoy the film.
Earlier, Vasan had praised a horror comedy starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor on Instagram but forgot to tag Shraddha, causing some backlash from her fans on social media.
Alia Bhatt also acknowledged Shraddha’s praise on her Instagram Stories and thanked her for the kind words.
The teaser trailer of Jigra has been well-received by viewers and the film industry, showcasing a thrilling prison-break plot and the sibling bond between Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina’s characters. The film is set to release on October 11, 2024, produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, and Somen Mishra.
