Jessica Biel Provides a Rare Update on Her 9-Year-Old Son Silas
Jessica Biel can’t shake the feeling that time is flying by.
For the Candy star and her husband, Justin Timberlake, nothing showcases this more than watching their eldest son, Silas, 9, grow and change rapidly before their eyes.
“He went from being this little guy to a more mature kid,” she shared on the May 21 episode of SiriusXM’s Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa podcast. “Even Justin and I are amazed at how different he looks all of a sudden.”
As Silas enters this stage, Jessica opened up about the conversations they’ve started having about puberty.
“We’ve been discussing how his body is changing and how he’s feeling,” the 42-year-old added. “He’s going through growing pains, having trouble sleeping, waking up in the middle of the night with leg and back aches. He’s starting to look different, you know?”
Jessica stressed that she and Justin, 43, have been actively engaging in these discussions, saying, “We’re talking about deodorant, hormones, and why our bodies smell different. We’re fully immersed in it and getting ready for all the important conversations ahead.”
