Jerrod Carmichael Provides Update on His Friendship with Tyler the Creator
Jerrod Carmichael is addressing the recent encounter with Tyler, the Creator.
Following a tense discussion about Jerrod’s past feelings for the Grammy winner on the premiere of the Jerrod Carmichael Reality Show, Jerrod has now given insight into their current relationship.
“I find that conversation to be incredibly significant and impactful, and I am mostly thankful to him for having it,” he shared in an interview with Esquire published on April 1. “It’s a conversation that has never been had on television before, and he knows that I can be unpredictable, so he was open to something unpredictable.”
“I believe we are on good terms,” the 36-year-old added. “I am currently in New York, so our interactions are limited, but I still hold him in high regard and cherish his friendship. He has been a great source of inspiration for me. I feel that every conversation on the show has only strengthened our relationship, making it more authentic. Overall, I think we are in a good place.”
