Jennifer Lopez reportedly visited Ben Affleck at his Los Angeles home after months apart during the summer.
According to People, Lopez went to Affleck’s rented house in Brentwood on Sunday, August 11. Earlier that day, she spent time with his 12-year-old son, Samuel, taking him to the mall.
Sources say the singer wants to spend time with Affleck’s kids before school starts. Affleck has three children—Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel—with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. JLo also has 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony.
The source mentioned that even though Lopez and Affleck are not together, she still has a strong connection with his children.
Reports indicate that she spent months last year looking for the perfect home that would suit their blended family. Now that she is back in Los Angeles, she plans to be there for the kids before school begins, especially Violet, who will soon be heading off to college.
Earlier reports suggested that they hadn’t seen each other in weeks, leading to speculation about them moving on separately. With Lopez also looking for a new home, it appears she is starting fresh.
Meanwhile, Affleck has been keeping busy with work, which has helped him cope during this challenging period. Despite a tough summer, he has made sure to spend quality time with his children every day. An insider mentioned, “The kids are still out of school. He spends a lot of time with them. It has not been the easiest summer for him, either. He is trying to stay focused and make the most of each day.”
In late July, rumors circulated about marital issues as their second wedding anniversary came and went without any public acknowledgement. These issues had come to light in May when they were living apart.
Despite these challenges, Lopez remains focused on making the most of her summer by spending time with family and friends. She continues to stay optimistic even amidst life’s uncertainties, including relationship status.
Lopez will star in the film Unstoppable, produced by Affleck’s company and set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. Affleck has recently wrapped filming for The Accountant 2 and is gearing up to work on a Netflix crime thriller titled RIP with Matt Damon.
