Meanwhile, Ben, father to Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with ex Jennifer Garner, recently opened up about the experience of being married to someone as famous as J.Lo.
“She’s so famous and beloved by people,” he shared during the June 20 premiere of Peacock’s Hart to Heart. “She holds a special place in people’s hearts. People react with excitement when they see her. It’s incredible.”
The Air actor also recounted a particularly memorable fan encounter they had in Times Square, New York City, while on their way to a show with their children.
“We had to leave the car,” Ben recalled, “I said, ‘Forget it, baby, we’ll be late. Let’s walk a block and a half.’ She just said, ‘Okay.’ Without complaining. I urged her to hurry because the traffic delay would be ten minutes while it would only take us two minutes to walk.”
Unfortunately, the situation didn’t go as smoothly as planned.
“There was a lady in a tight purple outfit smoking weed,” the 51-year-old continued, “she started filming while running backwards, shouting ‘J.Lo!’ like a town crier, and then everyone else—mostly tourists—followed suit!”
