Jennifer Hudson’s Amusing Response to Confirmation of Romance with Common
Jennifer Hudson is recalling the moment she and Common went public with their relationship.
When the “The Light” artist made a guest appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show in January, the topic swiftly shifted to romance, and he subtly hinted about his girlfriend—who happens to be an EGOT winner and has her own talk show. While it was evident he was referring to Jennifer, she shared how enjoyable it was to see the audience piece together the news from the clues.
“Is that what you gathered?” the singer playfully remarked during the Feb. 27 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, “because I was convinced he was dating Whoopi Goldberg.”
Despite the challenge some may feel interviewing their partner on television, Jennifer viewed it differently.
“I personally find it more challenging to interview someone I greatly admire, which is usually the case with most of my guests,” the Dreamgirls star explained. “But that’s when I get the most nervous. I prefer interviewing individuals I’m more familiar with because it feels more like a casual conversation.”
