Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb are spilling the tea about a recent tennis outing.
According to the Today cohosts, they were educated in the sport by renowned tennis fan Anna Wintour during a recent match they attended with anchor Savannah Guthrie.
At the Men’s Singles Final at the U.S. Open on Sept. 8, where they were cheering on U.S. athlete Taylor Fritz against Italian player Jannik Sinner, their spirited enthusiasm led them into trouble.
“Tennis is fun,” Hoda said on Today With Hoda and Jenna on Sept. 9. “We were loud and annoying.”
While some spectators encouraged their loudness, Jenna shared, “I think Anna Wintour asked us to quiet down.”
E! News has reached out to Wintour’s representative for comment but has not received a response.
The Vogue editor in chief and Conde Nast creative director, a devoted tennis fan, was actually seated several rows below the energetic group in the stands.
