Why Jelly Roll’s Private Plane Had to Make an Emergency Landing Revealed

Jelly Roll is feeling grateful.
During the 2024 CMT Music Awards on April 7, the “Son of a Sinner” singer talked about a scary incident he and his wife Bunnie XO had with their private jet, which led to an emergency landing just three days before the award show.
“The screen cut out,” Jelly Roll explained on the red carpet at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. “The pilot didn’t want to take any chances, so he had to manually fly the plane back as if it were the 1960s. It was a tense situation.”
The singer praised the pilot for safely landing the plane and said, “We feel blessed to have made it back safely.”
Jelly Roll also reflected on his music career, saying, “I made my award show debut a year ago, feeling like a stranger. Now, a year later, I feel like part of the family.”
