Mayor Apologizes to Jason & Kylie Kelce for Fan Interaction
She happily agreed after dealing with some of Jason’s antics.
On the September 7th episode of the New Heights podcast, the couple recounted their engagement story. Jason admitted he’s not exactly a “romantic” guy.
The NFL player proposed to Kylie in the car as they were leaving her parents’ home.
“I couldn’t find a discreet way to go back into the house,” he confessed, “saying something like, ‘Hey, I need to talk to your dad,’ would have been too awkward.”
So, he went with a different approach: “When we sat in the car, I told Ky, ‘I’m sorry but I need to use the bathroom.'”
However, Kylie wasn’t fooled and knew something was up when he returned quickly. “He came out and I said, ‘Jason, you didn’t just go to the bathroom, it usually takes you 20 minutes.’
Jason then got straight to the point. “He said, ‘This might not be the most romantic way to do this,'” Kylie remembered, “and I immediately started crying because I knew what was happening, only because he mentioned being romantic.”
