Jason Kelce tearfully reveals decision to retire from NFL following 13 seasons

On the Sept. 7 episode of the New Heights podcast, the couple recounted their engagement story, with Jason admitting he’s not particularly romantic.
The NFL star proposed to Kylie in his car as they were leaving her parents’ house.
“I couldn’t figure out how to discreetly go back into the house,” he explained, “saying ‘Hey, I need to talk to your dad’ would have been strange.”
So, Jason went with another option: “When we got in the car, I said, ‘Ky, I’m sorry but I gotta take a s–t.’
However, Kylie knew Jason was planning something when he came back quickly. “He returned and I said, ‘Jason, I know you didn’t just use the bathroom, it usually takes you 20 minutes.’
Jason then got straight to the point.
“He said, ‘This isn’t the most romantic way to do this,'” Kylie remembered, “and I started crying because I knew what was happening since he mentioned being romantic.”
