Jason Kelce clears up rumors about the missing Super Bowl ring that was thought to be stolen
Jason Kelce knows how rumors spread, and he’s addressing this one before it gains momentum.
Following a report that suggested the former Philadelphia Eagles center claimed his Super Bowl ring was “stolen” during an April 11 live show on New Heights, Jason quickly clarified that it was not the case.
“This is not true, and that’s not what I meant,” he stated in an April 24 post on Twitter. “I don’t believe it was stolen. Based on the video evidence available, I think it was accidentally thrown away while cleaning up.”
The 36-year-old, who has daughters Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 14 months, with his wife Kylie Kelce, later responded to a suggestion from a user that he should make debunking false articles his new full-time job. However, Jason doesn’t seem interested in taking on that busy job.
As Jason stated, “That would be too overwhelming of a job for me to handle.”
Nevertheless, the mystery of Jason’s missing Super Bowl ring, which he won in 2018, has been ongoing since he and his brother Travis Kelce appeared at a live show at their former school, the University of Cincinnati, on April 11.
