Jasmine Cooper’s Motherhood Journey During Silas’ Deployment
Jasmine Ellis Cooper is excited to celebrate this summer with a different kind of bottle—baby bottles, that is.
Just a couple of months after welcoming her first child with Silas Cooper, the star of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard is sharing her experience of motherhood while her husband, an officer in the Army Reserve who appeared in the first season of the Bravo series, is currently serving overseas in Eastern Europe.
Even though Silas is away during the filming of the show’s second season, his love and support are still present, even from a distance of thousands of miles.
“He made sure I had all the snacks and flowers—I always knew he was thinking of me no matter how far apart we were,” Jasmine, who gave birth to baby boy Silas Jr. in late February, shared in an exclusive interview with E! News. “That was incredibly sweet.”
Their journey into parenthood follows their wedding in June 2022 and the challenges and joys they faced in their first summer together in the vineyard as newlyweds. Jasmine reflects on how tough it was to navigate those experiences at first.
