Justin Baldoni of ‘It Ends With Us’ Enlists Crisis PR Manager in Response to Speculation
Justin Baldoni Reacts to Critics Who Say ‘It Ends With Us’ Romanticizes Domestic Violence
Justin Baldoni is seeking help during a controversial press tour.
The director and star of It Ends With Us, the recently released romantic drama featuring Blake Lively, has brought on crisis public relations manager Melissa Nathan as rumors of tension among the cast persist, E! News can confirm.
Nathan, who leads The Agency Group, has previously worked with notable clients such as Drake, Johnny Depp, Logan Paul and others. This new addition comes as Baldoni, 40, and Lively, 36, who also served as a producer on the film, have been at the center of speculation surrounding rifts during the promotional tour for the movie, adapted from the bestselling novel by Colleen Hoover.
The rumors escalated when fans noticed Baldoni was not participating in press activities or taking red carpet photos with his costars, including Lively, Brandon Sklenar, Jenny Slate, and Isabela Ferrer, despite being both the director and one of the film’s male leads. Observant followers also noted that the cast members do not follow Baldoni on social media, but do follow Lively.
