At the trailer launch of Ishq Vishk Rebound, fans were eager to know if Shahid Kapoor would make a guest appearance in the film starring Rohit Saraf and Pashmina Roshan.
In response, director Nipun Dharmadhikari mentioned, “You will find out on June 21.”
While the details of Shahid Kapoor’s role in Ishq Vishk Rebound are currently under wraps, it appears that the filmmakers are planning to surprise the audience in theaters.
Has Shahid Kapoor seen the film yet?
In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Rohit Saraf disclosed that Ishq Vishk actors Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao have not yet seen Ishq Vishk Rebound. Saraf mentioned that the original actors have been very supportive of the new team.
Describing Shahid and Amrita as “kind,” Ishq Vishk Rebound actor Rohit Saraf further praised their involvement in promoting the film on social media, calling it “really sweet.”
Ishq Vishk Rebound is set to release in theaters on June 21, 2024.
Shahid Kapoor’s current projects
Shahid Kapoor made his Bollywood debut with Ishq Vishk in 2003, where he starred opposite Amrita Rao. The 2003 film also featured Shenaz Treasury.
He has appeared in a variety of films like Kaminey, Haider, Jab We Met, Vivah, Chup Chup Ke, Kabir Singh, Jersey, Udta Punjab, Phata Poster Nikla Hero, Shaandaar, Deewane Huye Paagal, 36 China Town, and more.
Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya earlier this year, with Kriti Sanon as his love interest. He now has Rosshan Andrrews’ Deva lined up, scheduled to release on October 11 this year.
