According to People, Michael Jr. and Tanita moved back to Houston, his hometown, where they attended high school before studying psychology and art in college.
In a 2012 interview with New York Family, Michael described Tanita as having a strong personality but being more reserved. He praised her intelligence and independence.
He also mentioned that Michael Jr. is a very smart and particular young man.
Michael expressed his pride in his children, noting that they are independent and focused on forging their own paths rather than relying on his success. He is happy to see them pursue their own interests and develop their own personalities.
