As Isabella Strahan Completes Chemo, She Explains Her Challenging Symptoms
Isabella and the little boy, who was getting a bone marrow transplant, were reminded by his mother of the importance of celebrating “the little stuff.”
Isabella, on the other hand, was ready to celebrate the big milestones, proclaiming, “I’m excited, last bag of chemo today. And then I have a little confetti parade and I’ll ring the bell.”
In a TikTok video on June 8, Isabella and her twin sister, Sophia Strahan, danced in celebration as Isabella announced, “Just finished chemo. Did it.”
Instead of undergoing the originally planned six rounds of chemotherapy, Isabella only needed four, a fact she considers a blessing.
“These are happy tears,” she said in a video posted on April 10. “It’s not often you cry tears of joy.”
Isabella expressed her happiness at the prospect of having a summer to recover before having to return to school, as she originally anticipated finishing treatment at the end of July. “I’m so happy,” she shared.
