Is Zack Snyder’s Justice League Finally Hitting Theaters? Director Teases.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League is finally set to hit theaters. DC Studios fans have been eagerly anticipating this 2021 film, but due to tragic events among the production crew, the original scenes were never released for theatrical viewing. After its initial release on a streaming platform three years ago, Justice League will finally have its theatrical debut.
Director Zack Snyder took to social media to tease the release date of the 2021 film.
What is Justice League about?
In 2017, Justice League was originally released with changes made to Snyder’s vision when Joss Whedon took over the director’s chair. In 2021, Snyder released Justice League: Snyder’s Cut on Max, which was well-received by audiences. The synopsis of the 2021 Justice League reads, “Determined to ensure Superman’s ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne aligns forces with Diana Prince with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions.”
While hints about the film’s theatrical release have been dropped, fans are curious about Snyder’s approach. With James Gunn taking creative control at DC Studios, the release of the movie globally seems uncertain.
The only way for Snyder’s Justice League to hit theaters is with the production company’s permission to screen it in select US theaters. Although the release date has not been revealed yet, fans are advised to keep an eye on Snyder’s Vero account for ticket information.
