Kichcha Sudeep gained immense popularity as the host of Bigg Boss Kannada, a popular reality show. He has been hosting the show since 2013 and has been a consistent and unapologetic presence for almost 10 seasons. However, he recently surprised everyone by announcing his decision to step down from the show.
In a heartfelt post on his official social media account, Kichcha expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming response the show received from viewers and the high TRP ratings all seasons of BBK garnered. He announced that he will be stepping down as the host of Bigg Boss Kannada after the ongoing 11th season and requested everyone to respect his decision.
He wrote, “Thank you all for the amazing response to #BBK11. The high TV ratings are a testament to the love you have shown for the show and me. It has been a wonderful 10+1 years journey together, but it’s time for me to move on. This season will be my last as the host of BBK, and I believe my decision will be respected by Colors and all the fans of the show. Let’s make this season the best one yet, and I promise to entertain you all to the fullest. Love & Hugs. Thank you all.”

For those unaware, Kichcha Sudeep became the host of Bigg Boss Kannada in 2013 for the first season, which aired on ETV Kannada. After its huge success, he continued as the host as the show moved to Colors Kannada.
Reportedly, Sudeep signed a five-season deal with Colors for Rs. 20 crores, making it one of the most expensive deals in the Kannada television industry. Besides the main seasons of BBK, he also hosted a mini-season of the show.
On the professional front, Kichcha Sudeep has two exciting projects in the pipeline. He is working on the action-packed film Max, directed by Vijay Karthikeyaa. Additionally, he will be part of the drama Billa Ranga Baasha, directed by Anup Bhandari.
