The Secret Romance of Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song Revealed
Upon their return to Los Angeles, Song and Culkin were first seen together in July 2017 during the dinner rush at Craig’s in West Hollywood, a celebrity-packed restaurant known for being the opposite of discreet.
They were seen holding hands on a double date to Knott’s Scary Farm in October of that year, arranged by mutual friends Green and Clare Grant. They also spent time in Paris, where Culkin lived, as well as traveling to Amsterdam, Germany, and various locations within the U.S.
“Spending time traveling, you really get to know someone,” Song told Bustle. “Also, you really get to know yourself, because you start figuring out your strengths and weaknesses and how well you adapt. So we did that for about almost a year.”
Since then, they have been together, keeping their romance low-key but happily going about their lives. They joined Green and Grant at Disneyland in March 2018, appeared at Stand Up to Cancer events, and were photographed by paparazzi while out for coffee. However, Culkin admitted in a 2020 Esquire interview that in the early days of their relationship, he was extremely worried that it was too good to be true and that something would occur to ruin it.
