Remini has always been open and honest, especially when it comes to her departure from Scientology and her relationship with Pagán. In her book, she made it clear that their love story was not the conventional kind that you would share with your children.
Shortly after they started dating, Pagán confessed to Remini that he was not actually separated from his wife, as she believed. He admitted to being a serial cheater, which she found strangely appealing.
Despite his flaws, Remini found herself drawn to Pagán even more when he finally came clean about his past. She even introduced him to Scientology and he decided to take a course. She appreciated that he was a “normal guy” from outside the church who was willing to dive into Scientology.
