“I’m Still Eager to…”: Kaley Cuoco Shares the Next Animal She Wants to Rescue for Her Ranch

Kaley Cuoco’s passion for animals is well-known! The animal advocate, who has rescued numerous horses, dogs, goats, cows, turkeys, bunnies, and piglets, is eager to welcome another animal to her rescue ranch. In an interview with PEOPLE, The Big Bang Theory star shared that she has fulfilled her childhood dream of having every animal except a giraffe.

“I still really want to rescue a giraffe. We haven’t done that yet,” she mentioned. Cuoco resides on a spacious farm in Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles, with fiancé Tom Pelphrey and their daughter Matilda. They own a 40-acre ranch that serves as a shelter for rescued animals.

The actress recently rescued two turkeys, fulfilling a long-time desire. “I’ve always wanted turkeys, and we were able to rescue two. I absolutely love them. I’m obsessed with them. They’re so friendly,” she expressed. Additionally, they have welcomed “amazing” cows in the past year.

“We have a plethora of animals at the ranch, so I’m living out that childhood dream, and it’s pretty amazing,” Cuoco stated, mentioning that rescuing a giraffe would complete her bucket list. According to The Flight Attendant star, the diverse animals on her farm coexist in an “incredible” manner.

A large area houses goats, pigs, chickens, and mini horses under the same roof. “It’s truly fascinating,” she remarked. Cuoco debunked the myth that different animal breeds cannot live harmoniously. “We have completely disproved that notion.”

She detailed the dynamics among the animals and how they establish their territories. “It’s very much survival of the fittest at our place,” she explained. The animals determine hierarchies, preferred corners, and friendships, and they live harmoniously together.

Aside from her successful film The Flight Attendant, which received numerous Emmy and Golden Globe Awards nominations, Cuoco has recently appeared in Peacock’s series based on real events, a romantic comedy Meet Cute, and the animated Harley Quinn series.
