Lady Gaga Expresses Gratitude for New Chapter in Life Amidst Challenges
The past few years have brought immense success and happiness to Lady Gaga. Not only has she received acclaim for her singing, but she has also been praised for her acting. Lady Gaga has also found love with Michael Polansky, who is now her fiance, as she revealed in an interview with Vogue. With her personal and professional life flourishing, Lady Gaga expressed that she is currently in a very fulfilling phase of her life.
Reflecting on her journey in the entertainment industry, Lady Gaga shared with PEOPLE, “I’m in a new place.” Having spent her teenage years in showbiz, she acknowledged the challenges and triumphs she has faced throughout her career. She mentioned, “I’ve been working in the film industry for the last 10 years or so. And, you know, I think that I just went through a lot.”
Despite her numerous accomplishments, including winning an Oscar for Best Original Song for “Shallow” from the movie “A Star Is Born,” Lady Gaga has faced many obstacles. Her documentary “Gaga: Five Foot Two” from 2017 sheds light on some of these challenges.
Expressing gratitude for her career and fans, Lady Gaga admitted, “I feel really grateful for the career that I’ve had. And I feel so grateful for my fans. Also, I think I had a lot of trouble with it at one point.” She mentioned that she is now in a much better place and is thankful to be able to say that.
Continuing her trend of portraying significant and poignant characters, Lady Gaga recently took on the role of Harley Quinn in the musical drama “Joker: Folie à Deux,” a sequel to the 2019 hit film “Joker.” She also released a companion album for the movie titled “Harlequin” in September.
The film, helmed by Todd Philips, explores the aftermath of the first movie and focuses on Arthur Fleck’s time in Arkham Asylum and his encounters with Harley Quinn. Their endeavor to bring about change through their actions is something to look forward to. The addition of music adds an intriguing layer to the narrative.
