The Influence of YouTubers Morgan Riddle and Taylor Fritz on the Tennis World
Morgan Riddle and Taylor Fritz are making an impact on the world of tennis.
The duo, consisting of the YouTuber and the athlete – who is currently ranked 13th in the world, have been instrumental in attracting a younger audience to the sport since they started their relationship in 2020.
“We actually met on Raya, the dating app,” Morgan, also known as @moorrgs online, shared with E! News. “It was during COVID. I had just moved to LA a few weeks prior, so I was looking to expand my social circle and make friends.”
Fast forward to now, “I met him and started traveling with him on the tour a few months later,” the 26-year-old continued. “And it’s been almost four years of that.”
Despite not being a tennis enthusiast before meeting Taylor, the Minnesota native has become quite knowledgeable about the sport now.
“I come from a hockey family,” the partner of Celsius shared. “I wasn’t into sports growing up, I was more into speech and debate, theater. But now, I consider myself a tennis expert. I know every player, their strengths and weaknesses, and I can talk about the sport fluently.”
