The Support of Olivia Munn’s Son During Her Challenging Cancer Recovery
The smallest member of Olivia Munn‘s family played a significant role in her battle with breast cancer.
During her health journey, the Newsroom alum shared how her 2-year-old son Malcolm, whom she shares with John Mulaney, brought her joy and strength. Recalling a moment with Malcolm by the kiddie pool last summer, Olivia expressed on Instagram, “This moment was last summer when I had already had three surgeries and recovery—mentally and physically—was pretty rough.”
“The smallest, silliest moments like this lifted me up every single time,” she added. “My Malcolm.”
In the original post of the video, shared back in January, Olivia reflected, “If I knew earlier in my life that this magical boy would be in my future, I wouldn’t have worried so much about all the little things.”
Diagnosed with breast cancer last year, Olivia underwent multiple surgeries within a month, including a lymph node dissection and a double mastectomy. The physical pain and the inability to lift her son added more challenges to her recovery journey.
