Despite having to shorten their romantic trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands due to issues with Natalie’s passport, the newlyweds are refusing to let the mishap overshadow their honeymoon phase.
“It was our first challenge as a married couple,” Nick shared exclusively with E! News. “We were reminded of the importance of prioritizing what truly matters— supporting each other and safeguarding our family.”
As the host of The Viall Files emphasized, “We provided each other with comfort during a difficult situation.”
After exchanging vows on April 27, Nick and Natalie, accompanied by their 3-month-old daughter River and Natalie’s mother, had to return to the US shortly after reaching their honeymoon spot because of a tear in Natalie’s passport.
Although the couple detailed the ordeal on a May 2 episode of The Viall Files, they are preparing for a second honeymoon in the upcoming weeks, likely in Puerto Rico, and intend to bring River and Natalie’s mom along once more.
