Mia Farrow’s Sentiments Towards Actors Collaborating with Her Ex, Woody Allen
Woody Allen & Soon-Yi Previn Slam HBO’s “Allen v. Farrow”
Mia Farrow holds no ill will towards the actors who choose to collaborate with Woody Allen.
The 79-year-old, who starred in 13 films with her 88-year-old former partner before their falling out, stated that she is able to separate the professional work they did from the personal difficulties that arose later on.
“And I completely understand if an actor decides to work with him,” the Rosemary’s Baby actress shared on CBS Sunday Mornings’ September 1st episode. “I’m not one to say, ‘Oh they shouldn’t.’”
Mia and her daughter Dylan Farrow accused Woody of molesting Dylan when she was 7, an allegation the director has consistently denied. These accusations came to light in the early 1990s during a custody battle involving Mia, Woody, and their children Moses and Ronan Farrow.
The Annie Hall director lost the custody battle in 1993. The judge at the time stated that the claims of sexual abuse were unproven but criticized Woody’s behavior towards Dylan as “grossly inappropriate.”
