Leroy Garrett’s Experience on The Challenge After the Birth of Daughter Aria
When Leroy Garrett was getting ready to compete in The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras, his fiancée Kam Williams was facing a tougher challenge at home.
The Real World: Las Vegas alum returned for his 13th appearance on the MTV reality show shortly after Kam, 29, gave birth to their daughter Aria in February. Despite this, Kam, also known as Killa Kam for her skill in eliminations on Are You the One?, encouraged her future husband to go and do his best.
“Kam gave me the confidence to go,” Leroy told E! News’ Francesca Amiker in an exclusive interview.
With a newborn and their 2-year-old son Kingston, Leroy initially hesitated about leaving. “I wasn’t sure if I should go,” he admitted. “And she said, ‘Go for it.'”
For Leroy, Kam’s support made all the difference for him.
“When your partner tells you, ‘You can do this,’ that’s all that matters,” said the 39-year-old. “So I wasn’t worried while I was there because I knew I had a great mom taking care of my babies at home.”
