John Cena stole the spotlight with his outfit at the 2024 Oscars.
The Barbie actor took the stage completely nude as part of a comedic bit with Jimmy Kimmel during the March 10 event at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre.
Despite appearing naked with only Birkenstocks on his feet and an envelope strategically covering his lower body, Cena actually wore nude underwear backstage to create the illusion.
In a planned stunt, Cena was meant to run across the stage as a streaker.
“I’ve reconsidered, I don’t want to go through with the streaking bit,” he informed Jimmy. “I don’t think it’s appropriate for this elegant event. Frankly, you should be ashamed for even suggesting such a tasteless idea.”
