Joey King Celebrates First Wedding Anniversary with Steven Piet
Joey King was being creative when it came to selecting a first anniversary gift for her husband, Steven Piet.
On their “paper anniversary,” Joey, the Uglies star, went above and beyond by finding a newspaper from the day her husband was born.
“I found the newspaper one year from the day my husband was born,” Joey shared exclusively with E! News, “which is super cool.”
Despite the newspaper having a “really weird” headline, Joey found it to perfectly reflect their unique sense of humor.
“I read it and I was like, ‘Oh, that’s funny,” she said. “It’s a cool thing.” (For more from Joey’s interview, tune into E! News tonight, Sept. 3, at 11 p.m.)
Joey and Steven, who got married in September 2023 in Mallorca, Spain, first crossed paths while working together on the 2019’s The Act, where Joey portrayed Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Steven directed two episodes of the limited series.
