Shaun White Reveals Nina Dobrev’s Skills as a Snowboarder
Although some may feel intimidated to snowboard alongside Olympic champion Shaun White, Nina Dobrev has shown that she can hold her own on the slopes.
In an exclusive interview with E! News, Shaun praised Nina’s skills on the board, mentioning that she grew up in Canada, which helped their relationship on the slopes. Shaun admitted that he’s not always the best coach because he explains things based on “feelings,” which may not always be easy for students to understand.
Shaun expressed his relief that Nina was already proficient in snowboarding before they hit the slopes together. Despite his three gold medals, Shaun acknowledged that teaching the sport can be challenging for him.
As the founder of Whitespace, Shaun understands the pressure some may feel when snowboarding with him. He mentioned how he tends to dress up his friends in new gear, making them look cooler than their actual skills, leading to nervousness and high expectations on the slopes.
