Austin Butler’s Thoughts on The Carrie Diaries a Decade Later
Before stepping into a pair of iconic blue suede shoes, Austin Butler was in a relationship with a young Carrie Bradshaw.
Although a decade has passed since Austin starred alongside AnnaSophia Robb on the Sex and the City prequel series The Carrie Diaries, he still fondly remembers the experience.
“The Carrie Diaries was a time when I first moved to New York,” Austin exclusively shared with E! News‘ Will Marfuggi. “I was surrounded by people I love, learned a lot, and was falling in love with the city, so I look back on it with nostalgia.”
As the 32-year-old reflected on his role as Sebastian Kydd in The CW series, he believes portraying the love interest of the iconic aspiring writer allowed him to truly immerse himself in the moment.
