Despite the somber tone of the House of the Dragon season 2 finale, fans eagerly anticipate the future of their favorite characters in upcoming seasons. With a dedicated fandom, spoilers and theories are highly valued due to George R.R. Martin’s book franchise.
The stars of the show, including Matt Smith, Fabian Frankel, and Tom Glynn-Carney, are just as in the dark about season 3 as the audience. During a panel discussion at New York Comic Con, moderator Josh Horowitz asked if they had seen the script for the next season, to which Glynn-Carney replied, “Not a jot, not a letter.”
As the writing team takes their time, the cast must wait patiently for the script. The lack of information leaves them in the dark, as Frankel cryptically mentioned, “I’ve heard some things that I couldn’t possibly share here.”
According to Rotten Tomato viewer ratings, season 2 of House of the Dragon started strong but fell into familiar patterns towards the end. Now, with the stage set for a battle between the Green and Black armies, viewers expect an action-packed third season.
