Differentiating itself from other concerts, this event featured a pre-party taking place just outside Kallang Wave Mall hours before the pop queen took the stage. Swifties were decked out in their favorite eras, making it easy to spot one’s tribe in the crowd. Strengthening the bond, fans participated in the Swift-exclusive tradition of exchanging friendship bracelets moments before the concert started. This meaningful gesture served as a unifying force, bringing fans from various backgrounds together for a shared experience.

As the clock approached 7 o’clock, a countdown timer lit up the screen, heightening the excitement for Taylor Swift’s upcoming performance. Departing from the usual waiting time at concerts, she got straight to the point and began her set.

And naturally, her entrance was nothing short of spectacular – her stage performers wore incredible costumes and the crowd erupted into cheers so loud that it was hard to hear Taylor’s voice despite being seated near the speakers.

The pop sensation kicked off the Lover era, starting the concert with the captivating Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince. This was just the beginning, as she continued to mesmerize the audience with a string of hits including Cruel Summer, The Man, Lover, and The Archer.

During this segment, Taylor Swift indulged in a mini storytelling session, sharing personal anecdotes about how Singapore held sentimental value in her childhood. She shared, “My mom actually spent a lot of her childhood with her mom and dad and sister growing up in Singapore. So, a lot of the time when we come here on tour, my mom would take me and drive me past her old house, where she used to go to school. So I’ve been hearing about Singapore my whole life.” This heartfelt connection added an extra layer of meaning to the concert.

The show smoothly transitioned into the reputation era, accompanied by a captivating visual prelude featuring close-ups of a snake. At this point, Swifties were well aware of what they were in for.

We also witnessed the iconic “Taylor jump” right after the 1989 era. And as the Midnights era began with tracks like Anti-Hero, Bejeweled, Mastermind, and Karma, several Swifties knew that the three-hour concert was nearing its end.
