High School Musical Actor Takes the Crown on Masked Singer Season 11
One High School Musical alum has graduated to become the winner of season 11 of The Masked Singer.
During the season finale on May 22, Goldfish and Gumball competed for the title of top singing star after outlasting 14 other mystery celebrities with their vocal talents.
Gumball expressed how the competition allowed him to showcase his abilities in ways he had never been able to before in his career.
“The experience has been unbelievable and it’s been amazing to demonstrate my musical capability,” the actor told the judges. “I’ve been on TV for nearly two decades consistently, and yet being here, I feel like I’ve finally been able to reveal my true self.”
Goldfish echoed her competitor’s feelings.
“I have enjoyed exploring new realms as the golden girl on this stage,” she confessed. “As a young girl, I struggled to express myself. It wasn’t something I was familiar with growing up. However, recently, I have been on a journey of self-discovery and being here has allowed me to express myself freely.”
