Fardeen Khan from Heeramandi praises co-star Sharmin Segal’s performance: ‘She tackled a very intricate, demanding role’

Despite her co-stars including Richa Chadha, Farida Jalal, and Taha Shah coming to her defense, the trolling continues. The latest addition to this list is Fardeen Khan, who called it unfortunate.
Fardeen Khan on facing trolling himself
In an interview with Zoom, Fardeen Khan shared his thoughts on Sharmin Segal being trolled. He expressed that he finds the trolling unfortunate. The Khushi actor believes that everyone has the right to have their opinions on someone’s performance, but trolling is simply unacceptable.
Fardeen also defended Sharmin by praising her performance in the show. He mentioned that she had a challenging role and performed well alongside established actors. He sees it as a great beginning for her acting career.
Reflecting on his own experience with trolling, Fardeen Khan acknowledged that it is a sign of the times. He advised individuals to develop a thick skin to deal with such negativity. He emphasized the importance of speaking up against wrong behavior and highlighted that trolling reflects more on the trolls than the person being targeted.
Fardeen Khan’s upcoming projects
Fardeen Khan made his debut in 1998 with Prem Aggan. After a break from acting, he returned with a powerful performance in Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Fans have shown their love for his portrayal of a nawab, Wali Saab.
He is set to appear in the multi-starrer Khel Khel Mein alongside Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, and others.
