Heather Rae El Moussa responds to criticism over Valentine’s Day post
Heather Rae El Moussa isn’t allowing any negativity to overshadow her celebration of love.
Despite receiving criticism for not including a photo of her husband Tarek El Moussa‘s 13-year-old daughter Taylor in her Valentine’s Day Instagram post, the Selling Sunset alum chose to take the high road.
In a Feb. 15 Instagram Story, Heather wrote, “We close our ears to the pettiness,” and added, “We strive for positivity only.” She also assured her stepdaughter that she is her “#1 gal” and that she wasn’t offended by the post.
In addition to her response, Heather also posted a sweet photo of her and Taylor hugging in the back of a car with big smiles on their faces. Heather, who shares Tristan, 12 months, with Tarek and is also the stepmom to Tarek’s 8-year-old son Brayden from his previous marriage to Christina Hall, emphasized the love and bond she shares with her stepdaughter.
Heather’s supportive message for her family came after she posted a Valentine’s Day message for “her boys T, T & B,” expressing her gratitude for the love and support she feels from her husband and her children, and thanking Tarek for being her best friend and partner.
