Heather Langenkamp expresses anticipation for Mike Flanagan’s upcoming Stephen King film.
Heather Langenkamp, also known as the Queen of the horror genre, is excited to see Mike Flanagan’s upcoming movie based on Stephen King. She will not only be a viewer but also work with the director. In her interview with Bloody Disgusting, she shared that her new film with Flanagan will help her break out of her horror film image.
Flanagan often works with actors from his previous movies, so after collaborating with Langenkamp in The Midnight Club, they will team up again for the upcoming film.
Langenkamp couldn’t contain her excitement when Flanagan called her for the role. The Nickel Mountain star said, “I was thrilled when I got the call from Mike Flanagan. It wasn’t a typical horror movie; it’s a deep, philosophical movie about life.”
She added, “I’m an old lady now, and I think this movie will appeal to those who ponder their existence in a Stephen King-like manner.”
