42-year-old TV presenter Hayley Palmer recently made headlines after revealing details of her breakup with Mark Labbett, the 58-year-old star of the quiz show “The Chase.” Palmer claimed that Labbett ended their relationship in a three-minute phone call just days after they celebrated their one-year anniversary.

Despite enjoying each other’s company, a source told The Sun that Mark and Hayley had different priorities. Mark preferred a quiet life at home while Hayley enjoyed social events and gatherings. They respected each other’s choices, but Mark believed their age gap would pose challenges to their relationship.
Mark holds a high regard for Hayley despite their disagreements. He values his peaceful life and time with his son, aiming to find someone with similar interests to settle down with in the future.
To confirm their split, Palmer took to Instagram, stating, “It is with regret that I announce that myself and Mark have gone our separate ways.” She expressed gratitude for the wonderful year they had together and wished Mark all the best for the future.
Mark, who began dating Hayley in early 2023, has previously expressed his joy at being in her company. Following his divorce from Katie in 2020, he was rumored to have gone on several outings with the TV presenter, with whom he had been friends for some time.
